Dippers --great for so many foods--gravy, soup, sauces, beverages!

 Curly and Spalted Woodstock Maple

Wooden salad sets  are just right for serving greens fresh from the garden. This pair was made from the cherry trees behind our workshop. I make sets with long and short handles for different sized bowls.  This winter, I hope to learn to turn salad bowls on the lathe

Woodstock Cherry

My pie servers actually cut pies, cakes and quiches (and make a thoughtful birthday present).

 Birds-eye Maple

My favorite spoon is the right-handed sauté spoon -I make lefties, too. It scrapes into the corners of pots, is perfect for sautéing onions and is shallow enough for testing a sauce.

That Woodstock Maple again-- curly and spalted

We enjoy wok cooking. Hence the fancy yet functional wok spoon. Maple stands up to high temperatures as well as the traditional bamboo. Some people (like my friend, Lisa) simply use their wok spoon as a serving utensil.

Salt and condiment spoons are fun stocking stuffers.

Very Curly Maple

Silly or Whale spoons serve dips and sauces.

Baby spoons -wood is easy on tender gums- also work great in olive and capers jars!

Bird's-Eye Maple

Tongs come in three sizes: for large or medium salad bowls or toasters and a 6" curved pair originally custom ordered for serving stuffed grape leaves.

Ash pinchers with a Cherry center

The deli server  -made first for Jessica Tuesdays in Putnam, CT- is great for potato salad, cole slaw or rice pilaf.

Our sister- and brother-in-law own an inn/restaurant in the Adirondacks. The long-handled and shallow chef's spoons are modeled after some of theirs.

Appetizer servers

double as cookie servers, too.

Spoon rests fit well with any spoon.

Spatulas work well for pancakes or toasted cheese--plus they won't nick your Teflon.

At craft fairs, I put out chunks of hard cheese with my cheese knives  (picture at left) to show how easily the thin knife blade can cut cheese. They're great for spreading jams and butters, too.

I also make one piece spreaders in many shapes.
